In the second in a series of articles posted on Nikkei Business Online, Yukie Yoshikawa described the wide variety of U.S. players active on Asia policy, specifically the Futenma Air Base relocation issue. These were players to whom she sought to convey the “voice of Okinawa” while she was a Fellow in the Regional Security Policy Division of the Okinawa Prefectural Government from 2012-2014. Ms. Yoshikawa was a participant in the Foundation’s Next Generation Japan Leadership Network in 2013-2014.
