Connecting People & Ideas to Advance Mutual Interests in U.S.-Asia Relations

From 2021-2023, the Mansfield Foundation convened a working group of practitioners and scholars to address growing concerns surrounding the severe lack of human capital in the field of cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the U.S.-Japan relationship.

Following extensive consultations online and in person, the group detailed the current landscape of U.S.-Japan cybersecurity cooperation and the threats facing our nations, and produced a policy brief outlining 10 recommendations on strengthening the cyber workforce.
