MFP No. 16 Monterey Gardiner (Department of Energy) spoke about “Renewable Energy Policy (Barriers and Motivation): Perspectives on Progress in Japan, Germany/EU, and the U.S.” at the International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research at Kyushu University in Tokyo June 1, 2012. Mr. Gardiner, a Technology Development Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy, is in the second year of his Mike Mansfield Fellowship and currently working full time at Japan’s New Energy Technology Department, New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
