Members of the sixteenth and seventeenth group of Mike Mansfield Fellows and alumni Fellow Chris Winship (Treasury Attache, U.S. Embassy Tokyo) were honored to meet with U.S. Senator Max Baucus during the Senator’s recent visit to Japan. During their meeting at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, the Mansfield Fellows described their unique Fellowship experiences and how the Fellowship strengthens the U.S.-Japan relationship. Senator Baucus traveled to Japan and New Zealand to promote trade ties with the region.
