Kiichi Fujiwara (Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo) described the background and importance of the Mike Mansfield Fellowship Program in the January 22 edition of the Asahi Shimbun evening paper. Professor Fujiwara, a monthly contributor to the newspaper, has been involved with the Fellowship Program since the late 1990s.
