Asahi Shimbun June 2010 Public Opinion Poll – Third in a Series on the House of Councillors Election

Methodology
The poll was conducted by telephone on June 26 and 27 with voters from across Japan, whose telephone numbers were selected by a computer at random. Subjects were selected using a three-stage random sampling method (the Asahi RDD). The total number of those polled was 1,699, with 1,023 responses and a 60% response rate. Decimals were rounded up. The numbers in ( ) are the results from a poll conducted on June 19 and 20, 2010. Questions that appear frequently such as cabinet support rates will be posted at a later date at one time.
