The Incheon Bridge is Korea’s foremost bridge, 21.38 km in total length, connecting the Incheon Int’l Airport and the Songdo Int’l Business District.
The completion of the bridge has reduced the travel time from parts of the Seoul and Kyounggi areas to the airport by 40 minutes. Since its completion in October 2009, over 30 million drivers have used the bridge to reach the airport or near-by travel destinations.
Linking Korea and the world, the Incheon Bridge is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading civil engineering marvels for its grand scale, esthetic structural design, and state-of-the-art traffic management system. Built to extend Korea’s role as the center of Northeast Asia’s trade infrastructure, the Incheon Bridge is contributing to the country’s growth as a global logistics hub.
