In recognition of the tenth-anniversary of Mike Mansfield’s passing, on October 5, 2011, the Mansfield Foundation initiated a “Mike Mansfield Photo of the Week” feature on our website. Although he often said he did not want to be remembered, these photos provide an opportunity to recall Mike Mansfield’s life and work, and to reflect on his many contributions to U.S. foreign and domestic policy throughout the years. We are pleased to share these photos and hope they will enhance understanding of Mike Mansfield’s long career in public service and his lifelong commitment to strong U.S. relations with Asia.
