U.S.-Japan Nuclear Working Group News

The U.S.-Japan Nuclear Working Group continues to promote its “Statement on Shared Strategic Priorities in the Aftermath of the Fukushima Nuclear Accident.”   Nuclear Working Group Member Nobumasa Akiyama presented the group’s findings before a May 31 public meeting of Japan’s long-term nuclear policy advisory body, the Atomic Energy Commission.  The same week, the Japan Atomic Industrial Forum, Inc. (JAIF) featured an article on the U.S.-Japan Nuclear Working Group and an interview with Associate Director of Programs Ryan Shaffer in The Atomic Industrial Journal.  To read the article in Japanese, click here.
