Senator Max Baucus Traveling to Japan to Promote Trade, Meet Mansfield Fellows
August 20, 2012
Senator Max Baucus (D-Montana) will be in Japan and New Zealand this week to promote the Trans-Pacific Partnership and stronger trade ties with Japan and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. He also will have the opportunity to meet with the nine Mansfield Fellows currently in Japan — the sixteenth group of Fellows who are completing their year in Japan and the seventeenth group who will begin working full-time for Japanese government offices in September. Mansfield Foundation Deputy Executive Director David Boling is quoted in an August 16 Billings Gazette article about the trip.
