As Fiscal Affairs Director for The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, Elizabeth "Betty" Oleson is responsible for the foundation’s financial, compliance and human resource functions. Before joining the Foundation in 1999, she served as an administrative and financial manager for The University of Montana and the Western Montana Health Education Council. Betty holds a baccalaureate degree in political philosophy from The University of Chicago and an M.B.A. from The University of Montana. She is also a certified public accountant.

 

Betty and her husband, Jim, live on a 150-acre farm in Western Montana where the landscape includes moose, elk, wolves, and numerous other types of wildlife…and no visible lights from other households at night.
