Sam Dundon is a program associate with the Mansfield Foundation. He is responsible for the overall operation of the Foundation’s Washington, D.C., office as well as management of the Foundation’s website. His other responsibilities include supporting the Foundation’s Board of Directors and related programs, and assisting with the Foundation’s internship program.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Mr. Dundon worked in the governmental affairs department of Aflac International’s Tokyo office. He graduated from American University with a double BA in political science and international studies. While studying at American University, he served as an intern at the Mansfield Foundation, where he supported the planning and implementation of the Mike Mansfield Fellowship Program, the U.S.-Japan Financial and Economic Cooperation Exchange, and other programs. He also was a customer service representative at Chevy Chase Bank in Washington. Mr. Dundon studied at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto from 2006-2007. He speaks and reads Japanese.
